My Interior Design Blog on Times of India Online

Times of India Online will now be featuring my Interior Design Blog. I have named it “The Culture of Space” in line with the profound influence of design on the culture, behaviour and moods it curates. I had also written an article on it sometime back on this Blog. We also published the first article on ToI today called Interior Design – The Sixth Element. The article deals with why design needs to be holistic and centered around the people and not just on the looks – a topic that I have been quite vociferous about in my writing and my work. Do read about it here – https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/blogs/the-culture-of-space/interior-design-the-sixth-element/ As always, do feel free to send in your comments & questions both here and on ToI Cheers Nandita Nandita Manwani is a practicing Interior Designer in Bangalore and the founder of The Studio by Nandita Manwani

Pandemic & Perspective – The Interior Design Challenge

The Pandemic is forcing Interior Designers to think differently. The doubling up of the home as an office is inducing cultural changes in the home environment that need a fundamental shift in perspective in how home interior design needs to be thought, planned and executed. I will be speaking on this Design shift and challenge that the Pandemic poses to Home Interior Design & the Design fraternity in my upcoming lecture at the St. John’s Institute of Management Leadership Conference 2021. Anyone interested in attending can check here http://www.sjim.edu.in/leadership_conference.php Cheers Nandita Nandita Manwani is a leading Interior Designer in Bangalore and is the founder of The Studio by Nandita Manwani
