Are brass burners really good for Indian cooking

Thanks for such a useful information in this ocean of internet.....
I had a query regarding Chimneys and Hobs, Can you suggest something that is less pricer than Faber? Do you think its really worth going for Faber instead of others? Also, those brass based burners, is it really worth for Indian kitchen as they claim?
