1. I have a 9'*5' opening for my walkin closet. I am planning to put a partition with a sliding barn door of 7'*3'. What type of wood can I use here? for both partition and door(barn door, with 2 rollers on top, so suggest some light weight wood).
2. Same place, if i want to go with a pivot door, what can be the ideal size of the door and material to be used? I want the biggest door size possible.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Top mounted rollers housed in a false ceiling or a pelmet can take a fair amount of weight, hence that is not a major my recommendation would be to reduce the opening with fixed panels and install 2 sliding doors in textured / CNC cut wood or glass (with etched designs or something to go with the theme of the room). The glass can be within a frame (Aluminium or wood) or without. The fixed panels will also allow for space that can be beautified on the outside and allow additional shelf space / storage on the inside.
I would not recommend pivot doors as that would make the space look like a regular wardrobe and the whole feel of a walk in wardrobe would be lost.
